Vermont, USA
Vermont's color typically runs mid-to-late September into mid-October, with forecasts pointing to peak around October 4th through 11th, per the Old Farmer's Almanac's annual foliage map. Twin Farms, tucked into 300 acres of secluded Vermont woodland, is about as far from a bumper-to-bumper leaf-peeping caravan as this experience gets: an adults-only, all-inclusive Relais & Châteaux property originally built as the farmstead of Nobel Prize–winning author Sinclair Lewis. Aspen, Colorado
